EDGT: USEFUL INFO
SWITCH TO
Welcome to the ECOdolomitesGT!: the REGULARITY AND CONSUMPTION race in the Dolomites, open to electric cars approved for normal road circulation, which closes the FIA ecoRally Cup 2026 and counts for "general points" in the Italian Alternative Energy Championship 2026! Are You seriously considering taking part in an event linked to the main "green racing" championships with a standard road car? Here's the key information You need...
Which car can I participate with?
To participate in the ECOdolomitesGT 2025, all you need is a road-legal electric vehicle capable of covering at least 300 km of mountain driving without any issues, with a certain safety margin, without the need for intermediate charging. To participate in the event, it is ESSENTIAL to obtain the COC (Certificate of Conformity) for inspection. This certificate is usually provided when You pick up Your vehicle at the dealership, or You can request it from the manufacturer through their official network.
For safety reasons, although not yet required by the Highway Code, winter tires (snow tires) will be mandatory for everyone in the race. In case of adverse weather, authorities may also require drivers to use tires, chains, or snow socks! In any case, if You are not equipped with these, ou will not be allowed to participate in the event! For information: info@GeneralBioConcept.net
#HybridChallengeCup:
You can participate in the ECOdolomitesGT 2026 with a Mild-Hybrid (MHEV), Full-Hybrid (HEV), Plug-In Hybrid (PHEV), or EREV (Extended Range Electric Vehicle, or Series-Hybrid) vehicle in a special competition called the “Hybrid Challenge Cup”, with no national or international scoring.
How does the race take place and where can I find regulatory details?
The race consists of an afternoon of technical and sporting checks (where your car, your race and crew registration documents will be checked, and you will be given the graphics to affix to your car for the start), a race evening on Friday, during which You will cover approximately 100km, a race day on Saturday (where You will cover just over 250km, with a stop in South Tyrol (without the possibility of recharging on site), and a race morning on Sunday, during which you will cover another approximately 100km. The race is divided into transfer sectors (where you must meet the arrival at the "time controls" to the minute) and a series of "special stages" (or RS: Regularity Stages), where You must maintain a declared average speed to the nearest tenth of a km/h, passing through a series of secret virtual time controls to the tenth of a second! The entire race also includes the activation of remote vehicle control systems, while starting in 2026, fuel consumption will be measured using a new procedure at the start and finish of a regularity and consumption test (or a set of close tests). Your vehicle's fuel consumption will then be compared to that of other vehicles, using a special compensation formula that takes into account the homologation performance of fuel consumption in the "WLTP" (Worldwide Harmonized Light Vehicle Test Procedure) cycle of each vehicle entered in the race. Information on the race and the supplementary international regulations (FIA) are/will be available in the "Info, Enroll & Start" section in Download No. 1. The national regulations (ACI Sport) are/will be available in the Supplementary Race Regulations, which you will find highlighted under the "Specific Race Regulations" heading, the section of which pertains to the national ACI-Sport area. Also at the bottom of the "Info, Enroll & Start" section, you will find a series of links to other regulatory sections relating to both championships in question. Anyone who registers for the ECOdolomitesGT 2026 with an electric car simultaneously registers for a race valid for the FIA ecoRally Cup and the Italian Alternative Energies Championship, which are combined to allow participation in a single competition format.
Only electric vehicles will be eligible to earn points for the International Bridgestone FIA ecoRallyCup 2025 and the Italian Alternative Energies Championship.
Hybrid vehicles (PHEV, MHEV, HEV, LREV) will participate in the Hybrid Challenge Cup, according to the specific Supplementary Race Regulations.

What do You need to participate?
Each crew member (Driver and Co-Driver) must have a valid national ACI-Sport or international (FIA) license for the "Regularity Tourist" event. If you don't have a license, we'll arrange for the ACI to issue you a provisional license, valid for this event. However, in the latter case, you must have (or obtain) a medical certificate for non-competitive sporting activity: The same one You need to join a gym in Italy. The certificate is valid for one year: before requesting it again, make sure You don't already have a valid one (perhaps one you've deposited at the gym). How much time do You need to free Yourself for the race and where can You find accommodation?
